Micheal Schumacher Returns...But Not To His Mentor.

Guess who is making news after the Oscars??? The mighty Micheal Schumacher!

It has been a great news that the living legend in the world of automobiles has planned to return to his playing ground... the race tracks of the world, which sing the songs of the return of the man who had burnt the records formed earlier on those tracks. Enough of it. Lets come to the topic.

Micheal Shumacher has decide to return to the world of motorsport, but not to his mentor, Scudderia Ferrari, but their arch rivals, the Team McLaren.

Ferrari has officially said that they will not interfere between the ongoing talks between their previous lead driver and their arch rivals, but surely they can't stay behind and see the things going against them, in front of their very own eyes.

Ferrari tried to hire Micheal Schumacher earlier than McLaren even knew that he wants to rejoin motorsport, but talks somehow failed and Ferrari saw the jewl of their crown being taken away and fit in the already set Team McLaren.

Schumacher would probably join Lwis Hamilton in the team, but is not sure of it.

McLaren boss has officially said that Schumacher has still got the same charisma that he had two years ago when he lost the "Driver's Championship" to then Renault driver Fernendo Alonso.

As Alonso has joined Ferrari, Micheal wants to stick with the McLaren team.

With the Purchase of Braen GP by Mercedes, it has become a lot difficult for Micheal Schumacher to prove himself as the guru drivers from all the teams want to compete for the Champion's Trophy, including the defender of the trophy, Jenson Button.

As there is a whole discussion about what would happen to Micheal Schumacher going on, it is still not clear whether Micheal Schumacher would even join the motospot again or not, as the McLaren Boss said "It is all but certain that Micheal Schumacher would be a part of our team before the start of the new season". But that comment pretty much tells the story about what can Micheal and his new team would be thinking of his return to this motorspot world.

That is it for now, but we the Ferrari fans are not at all happy with his this decision about joining the arch rivals of the team that made his name in the world of automobiles.

Take care! Bye!

Hello guys, NASCAR is in row... agian!

Furniture Row Racing and crew chief Jay Guy have mutually agreed to part ways. "We wish Jay all the best," general manager Joe Garone said in a team release. "He is a good friend who worked hard to help bring us to where we are at. Jay was a true asset to our organization the past three years and we support him with his new opportunity."

Garone went on to say that the atmosphere at the Denver-based shop is upbeat as the team prepares to compete in all of the 36 Cup races in 2010.

"We are continuing to expand our resources to run a full schedule next year and are on the right track toward giving our driver Regan Smith the best tools possible to race competitively on a weekly basis," he said.

Schumacher To Join Ferrari....Again!!

A season that has already produced more than its fair share of thrills and spills just got even more exciting after it was confirmed on Wednesday that Michael Schumacher is to make a sensational comeback for Ferrari as temporary cover for the injured Felipe Massa.

Provided the 40-year-old seven-time world champion can prove his fitness - and the German is a man who prides himself on his conditioning - he will line up against reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton for the very first time at the European Grand Prix in Valencia on Aug 23.

The announcement, which will have Ferrari hardcore tifosi drooling, came just 24 hours after the German driver's manager, Willi Weber, said he was "200 per cent sure" his client would not race in Valencia.

That bold prediction was made to look rather foolish at about 6pm on Wednesday.

"Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro intends to entrust Michael Schumacher with Felipe Massa's car until the Brazilian driver is able to race again," Ferrari announced on its website.

"Michael Schumacher has shown his willingness and in the next few days he will undergo a specific programme of preparation at the end of which it will be possible to confirm his participation in the championship starting with the European Grand Prix."

The question is: why? Schumacher, who most certainly does not need the money, said as recently as three weeks ago that he had no intention of making a comeback in a sport he bestrode like a colossus for 15 seasons.

And as Weber pointed out, the most successful F1 driver of all time, a man with 91 grand prix wins to his name, is not one to settle for second best. "When Michael was racing he would get as close to perfection as possible," Weber said on Tuesday. "In this case, it would not be perfection; it would be a gamble - and that's not Michael's style."

Schumacher clearly has other ideas. Although he said his decision was inspired by a sense of duty to a team for whom he still acts as an advisor following Massa's horrific crash during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix last weekend, he admitted that he was also motivated by the challenge of competing against a new generation of drivers in a new machine.

"It is true that the Formula One chapter has long been closed for me but for team loyalty reasons I can't ignore this unfortunate situation," Schumacher said of his close friend Massa, who is expected to miss the rest of the season despite his recovery from a very serious injury.

"The most important thing first: thank God, all news concerning Felipe is positive, and I wish him all the best again.

"This afternoon I met with team principal Stefano Domenicali and Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo and together we decided that I will prepare myself to take the place of Felipe.

"As the competitor I am, I also very much look forward to facing this challenge."

The subtext was clear; with Ferrari beginning to look as if they are capable of challenging for race wins for the first time this year, Schumacher clearly believes he can add to his incredible tally of victories.

And with McLaren's Hamilton having notched his first victory of 2009 in Budapest last weekend, the mouth-watering prospect of their first-ever showdown awaits in Valencia, a race which produced a distinct lack of fireworks on its debut last year.

And what effect might Schumi have on Jenson Button's world title bid? How ironic would it be if he cost his old technical director Ross Brawn, now spearheading Brawn GP's march to glory, the constructors' championship?

The whole season has just been given a fresh twist - as if it needed it.

First Schumacher must prove his fitness. Since retiring in 2006 he has occasionally taken part in motorcycle events and in February he suffered neck and back injuries in a bike accident.

His spokeswoman Sabine Kehm warned on Tuesday that those injuries could affect his ability to drive an F1 car which places huge pressures on the neck because of the varying G-forces.

However, when the German sets his sights on something, he has an enviable record of achieving it and with the four-week mid-season break stretching ahead of him, he has plenty of time to shed a few pounds.

Massa's recovery from a life-threatening skull fracture, meanwhile, continues to go swimmingly. The Brazilian left intensive care and walked around his bed on Wednesday for the first time since his crash. His private doctor, Dino Altmann, also allayed fears over eye damage said he was certain Massa would be able to race again.

Until then, it's Schumi-time.

Jenson Button Joins The Mighty McLaren!!!

Hello readers!

I have been doing a lot of research and listening the news about Jenson Button joining the formula one team of MeLaren, i.e. McLaren GP.

This decision came yesterday when McLaren told the anxious press about the most desired news for the Team MeLaren F1 lovers,"Jenson Button has formally joined the Team McLaren".

This would mean only one thing... Jenson Button, the world champion for the year 2008-09 season, will be racing parallel to his charismatic partner, the famous "Lewis Hamilton", winner of the 2007-08 season.

This Dynamic Duo of the Britishers for the British racing team is phenomenal... we have almost never seen this combination,i.e. drivers from the same country racing their own constrictor.

When Jenson Button won this season, it was imminent that a big contractor like McLaren OR Ferrari will hire him. The news about, he signing the contract with Ferrari, kept circulating till a gossip from the McLaren side brought them in the limelight.

It has been confirmed that Jenson Button would take a "2 million pound" pay cut, just to join McLaren, than he would if he had joined Mercedez-Benz.

Reports tell that Jenson would be earning 6 million pounds at present with the McLaren but he would be earning "8 million pounds" at Mercedez-Benz. To Jenson, this may not be a huge difference, but to the constructors, he is a Jewl in their crown, bought at the cheapest possible rate!!!!!

Even Mclaren kept quiet about this fact, but then they broke the ice by announcing the new admission to their automotive arsenal.

We hope the both the drivers i.e. Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton would perform well in the next season, i.e. 2009-10.

Mighty TOYOTA Pull Out of the Mighty Race!

This was the astonishing news that rocked the very foundation of the motoring history and the motor racing fans throught the world..."Toyota pulling out of Formula"!???
This was eminent that when a motoring giant like Toyota posted a loss for the first time in 87 years of its past marvellous history, it would certainly pull out of the most expensive sport of all.... The Formula 1.
Toyota representative told the press about his boy's bad performance in this season and the last one, in which one of a Japanese Big 4, Honda , pulled out of racing season and sold its Team Honda Racing to a pioneer race engineer, Brawn, re-naming its team to "Brawn GP".
Earlier in the race qualifying sessions, both the Toyota drivers failed to show their performance up to the mark and failed to join the poles with the race leaders Mark Webber and our beloved Jenson Button. This proved to be last blow to the Team Toyota, after which it announced it withdrawl from the racing event for an annonymus period of time, perhaps forever!
It is yet to be announced by Toyota whether it would sell its team to any other manufacturer or it would completly disbanned it.... It still remains a mistry. But one thing is for sure that this team will not be sold to any of the European purchasers of bidders for the team, as it was mentioned in the press conference made earlier.
"TMC leaves F1 having compiled 13 podium and 87 point finishes over eight challenging seasons since 2002 with Panasonic Toyota Racing, a full-constructor team.
"It views its time in F1 - in which teams put forth their best efforts to fiercely compete at racing's highest level - as an irreplaceable experience that provided an opportunity to develop both human resources and its R&D operations. TMC expresses its deepest appreciation to its F1 fans and others for their warm support."
The world's largest car maker is now the third major manufacturer to withdraw from F1 in the space of 11 months after Honda and BMW.
Toyota's departure continues the exodus of Japanese companies from motor sport as Subaru and Suzuki withdrew from the World Rally Championship prior to this season.
In motorbikes, Kawasaki pulled out of MotoGP, and on Monday tyre manufacturer Bridgestone announced they will not be renewing their supply contract in F1 after next season.
Being a Ferrari fan( though my sympathies are with Toyota right now), I would have loved to hear about this Toyota Pull Out, but listen Ferrari fans.... would'nt we be happier to beat our arch rivals!!!!!
That's it for now, c ya guys later!!!
