I have been doing a lot of research and listening the news about Jenson Button joining the formula one team of MeLaren, i.e. McLaren GP.
This decision came yesterday when McLaren told the anxious press about the most desired news for the Team MeLaren F1 lovers,"Jenson Button has formally joined the Team McLaren".
This would mean only one thing... Jenson Button, the world champion for the year 2008-09 season, will be racing parallel to his charismatic partner, the famous "Lewis Hamilton", winner of the 2007-08 season.
This Dynamic Duo of the Britishers for the British racing team is phenomenal... we have almost never seen this combination,i.e. drivers from the same country racing their own constrictor.
When Jenson Button won this season, it was imminent that a big contractor like McLaren OR Ferrari will hire him. The news about, he signing the contract with Ferrari, kept circulating till a gossip from the McLaren side brought them in the limelight.
It has been confirmed that Jenson Button would take a "2 million pound" pay cut, just to join McLaren, than he would if he had joined Mercedez-Benz.
Reports tell that Jenson would be earning 6 million pounds at present with the McLaren but he would be earning "8 million pounds" at Mercedez-Benz. To Jenson, this may not be a huge difference, but to the constructors, he is a Jewl in their crown, bought at the cheapest possible rate!!!!!
Even Mclaren kept quiet about this fact, but then they broke the ice by announcing the new admission to their automotive arsenal.
We hope the both the drivers i.e. Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton would perform well in the next season, i.e. 2009-10.
